Why is rust protection necessary on new cars

Why is rust protection necessary on new equipment?

Although manufacturers are making equipment much better today, rusting will still occur. Painting and coverings are only as good as the very first scratch. The electrons taken by oxygen can travel from any scratched or open surface to and through the entire piece of equipment. Since for most companies, equipment represents a large investment and must be kept in good order to be able to stay operational and make a profit. It only makes sense to protect it from rust - thereby ensuring equipment uptime and longer operational fitness.

Why is sacrificial protection better than chemical rust proofing?

Chemical rust proofing works very well so long as the entire pieces of metal to be protected get adequately covered. Think about it. How do you ensure that every single part of your equipment is covered? What happens when you get a scratch? Ever try and remove rusted bolts? You spend more time and money sand blasting and repainting then you have invested in the equipment to begin with. Sacrificial protection continually protects your equipment no matter what happens to it.

Will the RustBustR(tm) work with chemical rust proofing?

Absolutely! In fact, RustBustR(tm) will enhance and improve chemical rust proofing systems by taking to it the fewer number of electrons allowed into the metal by chemical coverings.

Does the RustBustR(tm) Rust Inhibiting System stop all rust?

Nothing can stop all rust forever. Mother Nature works hard to return metal to its natural state and eventually, not matter what you do, she will succeed. What the RustBustR(tm) Rust Inhibiting System is designed to do is extend the normal life expectancy of your equipment by greatly slowing down the rusting process.

What all will the RustBustR(tm) work on?

Not at all. The RustBustR(tm) works on any type of negative grounded metal, i.e. motor mounts, equipment cabinets, conduit hangers and trays, transformers, breaker panels, trucks, trailers, farm equipment, warehouse equipment, tractors, etc.

What is the life expectancy of the RustBustR(tm)?

The RustBustR(tm) will protect your equipment or any other negatively charged metal for years. Depending on how large the metal object is to be protected and how much it has oxidizing factors working against it, the RustBustR(tm) should last four (4) years or longer, depending on the circumstances.

Can I use a RustBustR(tm) on motor vehicles?

Yes! RustBustR(tm) Rust Inhibiting System was primarily designed for commercial and industrial uses, but other possible uses such as cars, trucks, stock, horse, and boat trailers, tractors, metal buildings, pump jacks, oilfield tanks, metal roofs or anything with metal or steel involved.

What size of equipment will the RustBustR(tm) protect?

The RustBustR(tm)  will effectively protect all equipment up to a maximum rating of 7,000 lbs. An example would be a pickup truck. Larger equipment will simply require extra anodes.

Will the heat affect the RustBustR(tm)?

No. TheRustBustR(tm) can withstand high temperatures. However, we do not recommend installation in temps over 180 deg f. If you need such an application, please call us and we can have a special adhesive made to your needs.
